Interpersonal Violence and Sexual Assault
UNC Charlotte is committed to providing support and assistance to students who have experienced forms of interpersonal violence, including instances of sexual assault. The University has established a Title IX Office whose primary focus is to provide education around the issues of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking; thoroughly investigate reports of such matters; and ensure University compliance with federal regulations. Get more information on the Office of Civil Rights and Title IX website or by downloading the Interpersonal Violence Resource Guide.
The Dean of Students Office serves an integral role in providing outreach and support to students involved in instances of sexual assault, relationship violence, and stalking. This support often takes the form of referrals for on and off-campus resources, information regarding campus and criminal options, and advocacy for academic accommodations.
