The Dean of Students Office partners with Charlotte students and their families, faculty, staff, and community members to promote the holistic development of students, focusing on student support and self-advocacy, non-clinical case management, and personal accountability. Providing a charitable gift to the DSO advances our mission by supporting:

  • The development of emergency funds and providing resources for immediate assistance to students in urgent need.  Funding can also help expand case management services and personalized assistance to students in distress.
  • Initiatives that promote a culture of respect and personal responsibility. Enhancing the resources available for conflict resolution and restorative practices fosters an environment where students are encouraged to grow and develop in positive, transformative ways.  
  • Programs that combat basic needs insecurity, such as the Jamil Niner Student Pantry. By ensuring that all students have access to the basic necessities of life, donors help students focus on their academic success without the added burden of uncertainty.
